In my quest to give Inca a variety in her meals and lots of nutrition in her diet, I have been exploring other grains and cereals. One of them is Ramdana, known in Maharashtra as Rajgira. Wikipedia reveals that its botanical name is Amaranthus Cruentus. While looking at the photographs I realised that the same plant is called 'Cheera' in Kerala.
This snack is made by mixing the puffed seeds (Ramdana) with Jaggery syrup (Raw Sugar Syrup).
